Crescent Soul

Riffing off of Austin’s “Don’t Dallas My Austin”, this tee proclaims there IS no other city like New Orleans and you know it.  Don’t turn her into Anytown, U.S.A.  She’s better than that.  Despite all her problems, we will love her unconditionally.  We’re not a theme park, this is where we live, love, and fight on, for better or worse.Last calls, go-cups, music vs. noise, riverfront property and raising the rent, set against the backdrop of the usual corruption, mismanaged city services, violence and basic education woes.  New Orleans is in danger of a slow soul drainage and it’s something the SWB or Army Corps can’t fix (yeah you rite).  I may not have been born here, but I will die before I see this city go under the waves or drown in mediocrity.
